Job Summary
The HR Project Management Team is responsible for supporting the HR team with project management services of key, strategic projects as well as handling centralized functions such as the budget, invoicing and policies. The Sr Budget and Project Analyst will heavily focus on budget and financials responsibilities paired with supporting project management responsibilities. The position reports into the Sr Manager of the HR Project Management Office (PMO) and is 100% remote.
In this role, you will:
Budget / Invoicing / Contracts Responsibilities
- Oversee HR's budget which includes monthly reports and analysis of actuals, forecast, tracking towards saving targets.
- Facilitate the annual budget development by partnering with all relevant parties for input, review and approvals.
- Calculate the annual burden rate.
- Conduct analytical analysis of data as it pertains to budget and financials with minimal guidance and provide an initial set of conclusion or recommendation based on the findings.
- Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert on HR budget, invoicing inquiries and related data needs.
- Create Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt in SAP in a timely fashion and when necessary, and handle invoicing inquiries and issues.
- Act as a point of contact between the HR team and Supply Chain to ensure Supply Chain's awareness of any intend to add (RFI, RFP) or change a supplier.
- Partner with other departments in the organization such as FP&A, Audit, Program Management Office, Supply Chain on any process, data and reporting needs.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain HR policies, which includes coordinating updates with Subject Matter Experts, appropriate approvals and posting of the final policy.
- PMO duties
- Maintain the HR activity pipeline throughout the year and ensure strategic alignment with content in the Employee HR Portal.
- Provide support to the team on larger projects by assisting in preparation and organization.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree AND 3 years of proven progressive accounting experience with managing budget, accruals and financial data including analytical analysis and invoice processing
OR Associate's degree AND 5 years of proven progressive accounting experience with managing budget, accruals and financial data including analytical analysis and invoice processing
OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of proven progressive accounting experience with managing budget, accruals and financial data including analytical analysis and invoice processing.
- Advanced excel and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP reporting
- Knowledge of the HR and Payroll function
- 1-2 years of project experience
- Live within a 1-hour driving distance of Houston, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Work Conditions
- This job is fully remote with Houston/SLC proximity as occasional in-office attendance may be required.
- Travel only as required by business or project need
- Work is primarily sedentary (desk work at a computer)
