Overview

The Senior Brand & Advertising Specialist works to develop and implement advertising and brand efforts that are aligned around the Hoosier Lottery brand's specific business objectives. With up to 15 integrated B2C campaigns developed annually, the marketing organization runs at the pace of a retail business coupled with the strategic vision, discipline and lens of a consumer-packaged goods brand. The marketing team is a full 360 organization including brand management, media and advertising, public relations, retail, interactive/digital/social, promotions, and graphic services competencies.

This role has responsibility for advertising and brand leadership support reporting to the Retail & Advertising Manager. They are responsible for leading day-to-day communication across creative, media, and advertising agency partnerships. The Senior Brand & Advertising Specialist will work alongside peers within Marketing including digital marketing, graphic services/production, public relations and promotions as well as cross-functional teams including Sales, Product and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day processes associated to the development, alignment and implementation of brand and advertising communications, including:
    • Interacting daily with external partners including creative and media agencies; providing ongoing communication, supporting delivery of communication development
    • Being responsible for advertising creative and media development
    • Handles feedback and routing process associated with marketing and advertising materials
    • Scheduling and management of campaign process and advertising timelines
    • Develops and presents campaign briefing documents to internal and external partners
    • Coordinates advertising and brand budgets
    • Ensures partners are delivering quality work related to creative, timelines, compliance, reporting and other necessary tasks
    • Handles annualized advertising support needs, including development and implementation of jackpot trigger alerts across paid media channels in timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures integration across business teams to support our central marketing and brand strategies, by leading touchpoints with cross-functional teams and ongoing updating, optimization and share out of communication planning tools;
  • Supports required Advance Reporting meetings to ensure Lottery Commission is aligned to campaign decisions and marketing strategies;
  • Leads case study and campaign reporting development across marketing team;
  • Leads presentation and award development and support as needed;
  • Maintain, track and publish all campaign elements, ensuring compliance with state regulation and retention policies;
  • Supports the organization's presence at events as needed;
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum education

BS or BA or equivalent, with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising preferred

Years Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Brand and/or Advertising or similar marketing role with a track record of successfully executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Business-to-Consumer marketing experience within a fast-paced retail environment and/or CPG organization is preferred.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,500 - $115,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
