We are looking for a Senior Casino Marketing Coordinator to join the team! In this role you will assist with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure our casino guests have a remarkable stay with us. THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Casino Marketing Coordinator is to support various administrative tasks related to our casino and VIP guests. All responsibilities are to be carried out in compliance with departmental policies and the guidelines established by MGM Resorts International.
THE STARTING RATE: $20.48/hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Assists Hosts with reservation requests and incoming telephone calls.
- Coordinates groups and special events in terms of pre-arrival room blocking and registration, VIP check-in and check-out, ground transportation, etc.
- Assists hosts with comp decisions.
- Facilitates telemarketing program in terms or issuing lists and preparing follow-up letters.
- Compiles basic analysis/correspondence as requested.
- Research and reviews comp exceptions.
- Prepares host schedule.
- Prepares production reports and other financial metrics.
- Resolves customer disputes and complaints.
- Enforces the privacy of all guests and limits requests for information about such guests in accordance with hotel policies. Ensures confidentiality of all casino information.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Prior administrative experience.
- Prior front desk or casino marketing experience.
- Previous customer service experience in a similar high-volume environment.
- Able to acquire a gaming license.
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as: Microsoft office, Outlook, Excel, Word, & more.
- Prior experience using hotel programs such as Opera, Amadeus/HotSOS, Patron, SevenRooms, OpenTable, Viper & more.
- Describes themselves as proactive, motivated, detail oriented, and a quick learner.
- Possesses a desire for career and personal growth.
- Flexible to work a day schedule or late swing/evening schedule as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
