Senior Cloud Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Platform Developer to lead the transition from on-premises data centers to cloud-based solutions, focusing on Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and associated technologies.

• Implement AVS-based workloads to handle migration tasks efficiently using Azure Migrate and VMware tools including vMotion
• Ensure secure, resilient network connectivity by configuring ExpressRoute for primary and secondary cloud regions
• Manage load balancing with F5, setting firewall rules, provisioning storage, and facilitating SQL database connectivity
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues in collaboration with architects and network engineers
• Document processes and contribute to the establishment of best practices to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency
• Keep abreast of advancements in Azure and VMware technologies to continuously refine the migration and implementation strategy

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering
• Solid background in executing large-scale datacenter-to-cloud migrations using AVS, VMware, and Azure Migrate
• Proficiency in network configuration including ExpressRoute, virtualization techniques like vMotion, and load balancing with F5
• Skills in setting up and managing firewall parameters, storage solutions, and SQL database connectivity
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues in high-stress environments
• Outstanding communication skills with competency in collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator or VMware are preferred

• Experience configuring secondary datacenter connectivity
• Familiarity with performance tuning of cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of advanced security measures for cloud environments
