As a Content Analyst, you thrive on digging deep into understanding current content details, providing insight into the current state of the content, and providing a foundation for organizing and preparing content development planning, migration, and overall management of content. Playing an integral role in analyzing and engineering an extensive amount of digital content is something you're looking for. You're a professional when it comes to providing quantitative assessments, accuracy, SEO, and overall performance engineering to support technology. You revolve around performing research to identify what kind of content attracts the public and brings more attention to the brand and its cause.  Lastly, you bring an incredible skill set, but you are always looking to hone your craft and push yourself to the next level.

*This position requires you to be in Chicago 

You will:

  • Lead internal site content analysis activities to provide data-informed content insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize AirTable to manage and document content to support internal side search operations.
  • Address ongoing content improvement needs.
  • Lead URL structural integrity by reviewing naming conventions, managing within AirTable, and owning governance.
  • Act as a consultant to Business Analyst's and Developers on technical requirements.
  • Conduct geo-location activities that support Marketing Science, Search Engine Optimization, and User Experience needs.
  • Provide data-informed recommendations for filtering and taxonomy needs.
  • Gather content insights and keywords to support content planning activities.
  • Collaborate with SEO and Marketing Science teams to align on recommendations for content planning needs.
  • Collaborate on site navigation and content organization.
  • Support content auditing activities. 
  • Maintain high standards of copywriting.

You have:

  • Minimum 4 years of Marketing/Communications experience in a Web-focused company or agency.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office, Visio and Internet browsers.
  • Experience using AirTable 
  • Experience in using WordTracker and researching keyword phrases.
  • Experience in research, writing and some project management skills.
  • Intimate understanding of the AEM content management system or equivalent.
  • A detail orientated mind-set and are an attentive proofreader.
  • The ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Knowledge of content management systems and strategies.
  • The ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex or demanding subject matter, either verbally or in written form.
  • The ability to work both independently and contribute as part of a larger team.
  • Familiarity with search engine marketing practices including organic search, paid listings and paid inclusion.
  • The ability to embed keywords within content to improve search engine rankings while still providing compelling information for visitors.
