Who are we hiring?

The Senior Performance Marketing Manager works to get our brand noticed throughout the customer journey. This role drives data-driven marketing initiatives to maximize ROI and achieve performance goals, focusing on measurable outcomes and analytics. An effective communications planner, they understand the holistic view of the consumer and engagement to drive results. They plan and execute tests that collect data to identify and analyze trends, and study competing products and their advertising techniques. This role also leads our digital media buying on programmatic and social media – in association with an external media buying agency. This position researches keyword data, quality ratings, and demand volume to understand how different websites rank pages, and executes successful Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on our website. These insights help the role effectively deploy marketing budgets and make ongoing recommendations for different digital marketing campaigns that position Sphere’s brand at the top of the Las Vegas entertainment industry.


What will you do?

  • Plan, develop, and implement SEO strategies that drive customers to our website, optimize the site experience, and inform metadata and schema. 
  • Develop budgets and work plans that optimize search and maximize ROI on paid and organic search efforts. 
  • Regularly perform comprehensive keywords research for the Sphere Experience and its competition. Understand monthly search volume, winnability, and how to achieve top rank.
  • Identify and monitor website KPIs, such as referral source, redirects, click rate, and bounce rate. 
  • Work strategically with Brand and Product teams to publish content that improves our search rank and drives greater inbound traffic. 
  • Develop lead generation email campaigns to increase ticket sales and support database growth, which can be leveraged to grow outbound sales efforts.
  • Fundamental knowledge of email marketing and communications planning with experience setting up workflows by audience segment to optimize customer engagement and drive revenue.
  • Setup all tracking and pixels for social media, digital, streaming, and programmatic media campaigns.
  • Submit creative briefs on digital ads and traffic them across media platforms.
  • Keep informed on the latest digital media and marketing trends, and implement best practices by working with web developers, product, and marketing teams.
  • In consultation with the VP of Consumer Marketing, develop performance marketing budgets and media plans.
  • Implement test-and-learn strategies that drive scalable results.
  • Lead a group of team members and agency partners to allocate, invest, and optimize the media budget across all channels to meet our business targets.
  • Oversee campaign management and reporting, including in-depth analytics of LTV, CPM, ROAS, and ROI. Track KPIs and dashboards that highlight learnings from our media investments.
  • Prepare and present reports regularly to senior management and partner agency. 


What do you need to succeed?

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in similar role.
  • Experience as a manager in growth environment.
  • Knowledge of SEM, SEO, HTML, Web Analytics, Testing Methods
  • Hands-on experience with planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy.
  • Experience in web analytics, marketing, and business development.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics for paid media and email.
  • Ability to setup and implement tracking pixels on websites for media, social campaigns, 3rd party solutions, and referral traffic.
  • Lead generation via email and SMS/Text.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • BA degree or higher; Digital Marketing certifications desired

Pay Range

$96,000—$150,000 USD
