We are seeking a skilled Senior SSIS Engineer to join our team for an enterprise data warehouse project. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting ETL code in SSIS, ensuring robust and maintainable solutions that meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop queries and stored procedures using T-SQL
  • Understand and analyze requirements to develop, test, configure and deploy SSIS packages
  • Use the SQL Server 2014, 2016 or 2017 experience to implement robust, maintainable solutions that meet requirements
  • Evaluate large and complex data sets
  • Troubleshoot SSIS packages to address critical production issues
  • Create tables, assign permissions, import data and perform app configurations
  • Manage source code versioning and deployment
  • Write and maintain technical documentation

  • 5+ years of SSIS / SSRS experience
  • Proven 5+ years of expertise writing T-SQL's, Stored Procedure, and Complex Queries using the Microsoft SQL Server
  • 8+ years of SSIS proficiency in developing ETL applications
  • Data warehouse development competency using SSIS/SQL best practices including the development of reconciliation and validation frameworks
  • Ability to utilize of best practice SSIS design patterns
  • Knowledge of best practices for loading a data into normalized and/or Star schemas
  • Skills in interfacing programmatically with a variety of enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with source code management systems (TFS)
  • Self-sufficiency in completing high-quality work, without significant guidance
  • B2+ English level, both verbal and written
Nice to have
  • Knowledge within the insurance business space
