While this is a fully remote role, ideally this individual will be located in or near the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX or Boca Raton, FL area.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for technical project management, planning, and execution of Engineering projects.

  • Manage scope and critical path for larger and more highly complex projects including coordinating tasks and issues, communicating results, and creating status reports.
  • Create, manage, and execute high level and detailed project plans using Smartsheet or Jira.
  • Monitor spend against budget and communicate analysis of results.
  • Support Program Manager with communication, presentations, and status reporting for executive leadership.
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and support for more junior team members.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Technical Project Management.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Jira/Confluence and SmartSheets.
  • Experience in Software, Backend, Firmware and/or Hardware (coding) preferred.
  • Certified Professional Scrum Master perferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certification in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.
  • Proficient in multiple PMBOK knowledge areas preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively plan for long range activities and identify and prioritize those initiatives.
  • Expert written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills; deliver complex concepts in an easy to understand format.
  • Analytical, pro-active, and organized with exceptional focus on details.
  • Possess high energy, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to perform and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to successfully navigate interpersonal relationships and motivate individuals and project teams.
  • Ability to quickly gain high level understanding of subject matter and "get into the weeds" of projects to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Lead by example, be well-respected, a trusted advisor, and able to motivate even the strongest critics.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $109,600 - $164,400 and is based on experience and qualifications.

Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
