Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist with proven experience in optimizing websites for the US market. If you're well-versed in US search trends, audience behavior, and SEO best practices, we’d love to have you on our team!
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing search engine optimization strategies aimed at enhancing the visibility of our website and online properties, specifically in the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US-specific search trends, regional SEO practices, and the ability to optimize content for a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research tailored to the US market to identify high-value, region-specific keywords and optimize website content.
- Analyze US-based competitors and industry trends to uncover growth opportunities and stay ahead of market shifts.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies that are specific to US audiences (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, etc.).
- Optimize content for local SEO, particularly focusing on regional searches and Google My Business optimization for US-based audiences.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting the performance of the site in the US market (site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors, etc.).
- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure content is optimized for both US consumer behavior and search algorithms.
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools with a focus on US audience data.
- Stay updated on trends in the US search landscape, including algorithm changes, user intent, and regional differences in search behavior.
- Monitor and optimize organic search performance to ensure the best possible visibility for target keywords in the US market.
- Provide recommendations for improving content strategy based on US audience engagement and competition.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong focus on the US market and proven results in improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and tools, specifically in the context of the US market.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Experience with local SEO strategies, particularly for businesses targeting US-based customers.
- Strong understanding of US search trends, consumer behavior, and industry-specific nuances.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, etc.
- Excellent english communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data to inform strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with paid search campaigns (PPC) targeting US audiences.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to assist with technical SEO improvements.
- Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant SEO tools.
- Familiarity with US-based digital marketing regulations, including ADA compliance and privacy laws.
