As a Software Development Engineer at CVS Health, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software that enhances business needs. You will architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of our evolving engineering projects.Objectives of this role

  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
  • Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
  • Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with designing and building software engineering solutions in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
  • 1+ years of experience in one or more modern languages, such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Experience in building full stack web applications with more emphasis on backend and data engineering side.
  • Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL data Stores
  • Knowledge of Python/Java, React/JavaScript, SQL and NoSQL .
  • Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills
  • Experience in unit/integration testing
Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$72,100.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
