The Opportunity

• Under general supervision, supports sourcing and procurement for assigned area/category/site/special projects.
• Reviews projects to understand internal client needs, savings opportunities, project deliverables and timelines.
• Develops new sources of supply and participates in negotiating contracts within specified spending limits.
• Provides instruction and follow-up to support operations teams with standardized RFP/bid and contract processes.
• Maintains contract files and ensures compliance with necessary contract documentation requirements.
• Improves systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent
• 4+ years' procurement/supply management experience
• SAP knowledge and ideally Ariba
• Purchasing Management Certification (ISM/CPM, CIPS) would be preferred.
• Strong time management and communication skills as well as a strong drive for results
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to work in diverse applications.
• Fluency in English and German.
