The Role:Â
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Marketing Manager to join our team with a strong background in content creation across all areas of the marketing funnel and sales cycle from email campaigns, one pagers, customers stories, website, social, blogs and everything in between. In this pivotal role and first marketing brand focused hire, you will be responsible for developing and executing our content strategy across platforms and mediums to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive business growth while supporting a wide variety of marketing initiatives including events, customer interviews and other key deliverables. You will craft compelling content, manage delivery schedules, and support a wide variety of marketing activities to help establish, uplift and solidify the Scorability brand.
Collaborating closely with the marketing, sales and customer success team, you will ensure our content and overall marketing strategy aligns with and supports company objectives. This is a great role for you if you’re a marketing enthusiast who possesses excellent content creation abilities, solid communication skills, a maniacal attention to detail, and an appetite to join a fast-growing startup at the early stages with a jack or jill-of-all-trades mindset as part of a foundational marketing team.Â
What you’ll do:
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all areas of the marketing and sales funnel (including traditional content creation, product marketing content, etc)
- Create and curate compelling and shareable content for various needs, including email marketing, one-pagers, website copy, customer onboarding collateral, social, blog posts, customer stories and more.Â
- Own the planning and execution of conferences and other brand activation events with the support of design and other team members with a willingness to attend events and advocate for the brand with prospective customers.Â
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content and marketing goals with objectives, goals and needs.
- Effectively partner with prospective and existing customers as needed to share stories, support the closing of deals, and interview for case studies and testimonials.Â
- Oversee the company’s social media strategy and accounts.
- Conduct regular analysis of brand engagement and performance and proactively engage with leadership to offer findings and recommendations.Â
- Support a variety of comprehensive marketing activities as the business needs, with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed as we build the function from the ground up.
Experience we’re seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Marketing (Marketing Manager, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Generalist or similar) required, with experience in an early-stage startup preferred.
- Strong understanding of content marketing best practices with the ability to share a diverse portfolio of content creation examples.Â
- Proficiency in Marketing CRM and content management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creating engaging and shareable content.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency and voice across all channels, mediums, and platforms.Â
- Creative thinking and the ability to work effectively with design resources to bring campaigns and programs to life.
- Relationship building expert with a comfort level engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly articulate how previous success has been tracked and measured over time.Â
- Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves experience with the ability and desire to grow into a leadership role over time.
