STARLINK PRODUCTION & LAB TECHNICIAN (DIRECT TO CELL)Â

RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Assemble electrical, mechanical, and antenna components used for network performance validationÂ
- Rack, cable, and configure servers and switchesÂ
- Label and document lab setups Â
- Inventory and maintain supply of test hardwareÂ
- Run functional testing of spacecraft hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardownÂ
- Develop test procedures and processes to troubleshoot and repair lab spacecraft test setups Â
- Assist in the identification, installation and implementation of test equipment, instrumentation and data acquisition systemsÂ
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated, track calibration schedulesÂ
- Manage schedule priorities and independently executing work to meet company deliverablesÂ
- Keep lab organized and ensure safe working conditionsÂ
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Â
- High school degree or equivalency certificateÂ
- 1+ years of hands-on work experience with soldering and power tools
- Experience with low voltage electrical wiringÂ
- Proficient use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suiteÂ
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Â
- Associate degreeÂ
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation and processes such as: layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions; schematics, engineering drawings, and parts listÂ
- Excellent communication and organizational skillsÂ
- Experience with Ethernet and fiber cablingÂ
- Experience with Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development Â
- Experience setting up and running tests and experimentsÂ
- Experience with Linux and IPv4 networkingÂ
- Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzersÂ
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Â
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.Â
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this positionÂ
- Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassistedÂ
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Â
Pay range: Â Â
Starlink Production Technician/Level 1: $25.00 - $29.50/hour  Â
Starlink Production Technician/Level 2: $28.00 - $34.00/hour  Â
Starlink Production Technician/Level 3: $32.00 - $40.00/hour  Â
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
