  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate actions necessary to achieve the goals of the Restriction Enzymes Production Group.
  • Plan, coordinate, and control the production and quality control processes of enzymes, including extraction from biomass, chromatographic purification, formulation, and quality testing.
  • Assign functions and tasks to group employees, set individual goals, and monitor their implementation to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Ensure the resources required for the group's activities and their efficient use.
  • Ensure and be accountable for the accurate preparation and timely completion of the department's documentation.
  • Participate in and lead projects related to their activities, as needed, to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen personal skills by setting and achieving annual development goals, promoting a culture of lifelong learning.
  • Develop employees by aligning the group's goals with their individual development goals, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team environment.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Higher university degree in biotechnology/biochemistry/bioengineering or related sciences.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in the biotechnology field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in biotechnology or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on setting and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and collaborators.
  • A proactive and determined approach to successfully implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Lithuanian and English languages.

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 625,00-€3 937,50.
