Team Lead -Quality

You as a Team Lead - Quality will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Delivering World class quality and drive improvements. An Experienced Professional applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Your responsibilities

• Leading team of quality engineers and technicians in a high-quality manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Planning and implementing team development, delivering on performance goals.
• Arranging and performing activities in shop floor related to quality checking of product, material incoming quality, production and testing process.
• Responsibility on process development, procedures, templates and working instructions related operations quality and Incoming quality
• Collaborating with and empowering all departments for deviation detection, nonconformance follow ups, root cause analysis, correction measures implementation and continuous improvement.
• Supporting in resolving quality issues form GIS assembly line or from site and follow up the NCR related improvement actions.
• Attending and participating in the internal or external audits (ISO, Hitachi Energy, Customer) and work with all departments to close all findings and improvements.
• Participating in organizational changes and lean culture implementation within the BU.
• Implementing and monitoring the quality strategy for materials, customer complaints and processes using predefined quality KPI's.
• Arranging and performing failure analysis, reports using 8D template or similar and sustaining a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements
• Monitoring supplier quality performance, follow up corrective actions related to NCRs, CCRPs and suppliers

• A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in GIS products, Quality control or assurance is preferred.
• Hands of experience in inspection of material, ISO 9001, process or product auditing, QMS & internal quality auditing is preferred.
• Sound problem solving, planning and prioritizing and as a team player should be advantageous.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
