We’re looking for a VP of Information Security to support our rapid expansion plans. Being a tech company, security is not something we take lightly so we’re looking for the best person for the job!

Requirements:

• 4 Components of your experience should cover Platform, Application, Ops, and Technology Risk.
• Worked within a public company (1-2 yrs. minimum) in the e-Commerce/Payments/FinTech space at a senior level.
• A senior leader who is multi-disciplinary when it comes to security, i.e. not just a firewall/app-sec focused professional, but a leader who is more strategic and possesses the experience and subject matter expertise required to put together a security strategy that is more holistic.
• A security engineering mindset and possesses professional training/certifications to back that up (CISSP, etc.)
• Expertise in CCPA and GDPR.
• Expertise in SOC compliance.
• Oversee day to day operations of the enterprise security function, reviewing internal orgs and enterprise applications.

You Will:

• Implement, manage and sustain a serious e-commerce security strategy.
• Work with Engineering to drive the adoption of core security services (SecDevOps, bot protection, fraud)
• Create and Implement information security policies and standards specific to each business unit.
• Strengthening the security posture of the company.
• Provide business/technical advice on a wide variety of IT risk issues, concerns, and problems, making sure all business processes incorporate adequate information security and company policies.
• Monitor current and proposed laws, regulations, industry standards and ethical requirements related to IT risk, privacy, and information security.
• Oversee our enterprise application security strategy to ensure Boxed is deploying secure code.
