Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Woodlawn Golf Course in Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This position does not offer Logistical Support. The purpose of this position is to perform the full range of custodial duties in an assigned area within the Woodlawn Golf Course. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. Incumbent must be physically in Germany before a firm/final job offer can be received. This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. This position may require the incumbent to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to properly use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Ability to clean and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment. Ability to perform the full range of cleaning duties. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit. Probationary period may be required.
