Summary This position will be assigned to the JBSA Fort Sam Houston Golf Course located in San Antonio, Texas. This is flexible position with no guaranteed hours. Hours may range from 0-40 hours per week and scheduled as needed. This position is not eligible for benefits. Requires use of both arms, hands, and legs. Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Objects seldom weigh in excess of 10 pounds. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position requires the incumbent to complete assigned training, to include Food Handler's certification, within specified time from date of hire or assignment to position. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Incumbent must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages. This position requires the incumbent to have resided in the United States for 3 years and reside in the commuting area of the vacancy location. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience or training in proper food handling and serving techniques. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of proper food handling and serving techniques. 2. Knowledge of food menu items and wine selection for various foods sufficient to explain to customer. 3. Skill in table setting techniques. 4. Ability to follow cash handling procedures. 5. Ability to make simple mathematical computations. 6.
