As the Affiliate Marketing Manager you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for managing all existing affiliate marketing partnerships and ensuring our brands (EasyCanvasPrints.com, BuildASign.com, SignsOntheCheap.com) stay top of mind with our affiliate publishers. In addition the ideal candidate will strive to stay on top of the most recent trends in the affiliate industry and develop new partnerships that allow for continued growth.
• Develop, launch and scale marketing initiatives for the affiliate marketing channel
• Manage and negotiate media buys and strategic advertising placements
• Measure ROI and adjust payouts to maximize profitability of all affiliate marketing offers
• Provide strategic direction on distribution of promotional offers to key partners
• Identify new promotion opportunities and distribute those offers to key partners
• Present weekly channel KPI's to senior management team
• Present monthly initiatives, goals, metrics to executive team
Must Haves:
• Advanced knowledge of internal affiliate management platforms: e.g. HasOffers, Impact, Cake, etc.
• Experienced with multiple affiliate networks: e.g. Commission Junction, Rakuten, Brand X Ads, Madrivo, etc
• Extensive experience working with multiple kinds of affiliate traffic: e.g. Email, Toolbar, Coupons, Content, Referral
• Proficient in web analytics: e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager , etc.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel with usage of advanced functionality: e.g. vlookups, index match, array formulas, etc.
Nice to Have:
• Proficient with BI tools: e.g. Looker, Qliksense, Domo, etc.
• Proficient with web-based task management systems: e.g. Trello, Asana, Jira, etc.
• Knowledge of email marketing, paid social, and native advertising channels a plus
• Experience in a wide array of digital marketing tools a plus: e.g. landing page testing, A/B testing, email marketing, marketing automation, competitive intelligence, etc.
• 4+ years of online marketing experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent affiliate marketing and technical experience is a requirement.
• This position is hybrid in Austin, TX and requires 2 in office days per week (Tuesday/Wednesday).
