Blow Mold Operator (10pm-6:30am)

A • Operate adjustment and maintain machine for consistent bottle production. • Visually observes product for acceptable quality for such items as bottle weight, bottle profile, case printing, color compared to standards, case dimensions, glue pattern, label placement, code dates and bottle appearance. • Responsible for organizing the Blow Mold department within shift(s) in order to achieve the completion of orders in a timely manner. • Responsible for communication to Management on results from shift daily. • Ensure assigned tasks are completed timely, correctly, safely and to the highest quality standard. • Comply with all plant safety, quality, GMPs, current standard practices, and all other plant rules, policies, and procedures, including proper use of PPE in this safety-sensitive role. • Load corrogates into bliss hopper. • Monitor equipment and ensure equipment is functioning properly. • Perform changeovers in a timely manner • Evaluate machine breakdowns and collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely repairs. Employees may perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance on equipment only if trained and authorized by management or supervisors and provided it does not compromise safety or quality. • Actively participate in area Preventative Maintenance and 5S activities. • Bottle weight verification, visual inspection, leak finder test verification, omron system verification, drop test, bottle neck dimensions, bottle compression test, bottle color opacity, blender scale calibration, bottle thickness verification, ABC bottle verification, pin profile verification, extruder reading, wheel settings and (12 bottle) 2 case inspection. • Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot and complete maintenance on production equipment. • Properly document preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, production output and other key indicators. • Communicate key metrics and issues to Supervisor and/or Manager. • Address Standard Work variances to help solve problems and concerns. • Input data in top datanlyzer. • Other functions as assigned based on business needs.Prestone® offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
