Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in menu planning, inventory management, and leading the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Duties • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management. • Collaborate on menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current food trends. • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality control. • Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. • Coordinate catering services for special events as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role. • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food production, and food handling practices. • Experience with inventory management and menu planning is preferred. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. • Familiarity with catering services is a plus. • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
