This role will be located in our HQ in Austin, TX. Our office is spacious, centrally located, dog friendly and always stocked with snacks and cold brew on tap! We offer a hybrid work model, where Billders are able to work from home one day per week.
The Role
This role will be responsible for continued selling and managing accounts for a set of commercial construction contractors and increasing wallet share across a suite of financial products to existing customers. The ideal candidate has a history of selling to an existing customer base, deepening relationships, re-engaging otherwise inactive accounts, exceeding sales quotas, and loves the challenges of selling a new product into the market.

What You'll Do
- Manage the onboarding and continued education around Billd's products after the contractor originates first financing with Billd.
- Continued selling of Billd's financial product suite to strategically advise successful implementation of the product(s) and deepen customer wallet share.
- Deepen relationships with existing customers and manage accounts for long-term customer success through a customer-first approach.
- Work closely with contractor to manage account (including but not limited to upcoming lien deadlines, upcoming maturities, missed weekly payments, periodic account re-underwriting, waiver requests, pay app servicing, etc).
- Act as both the internal and external voice quarterbacking customer handling all communication for active customers.
- Work side by side with Field and Inside Territory Managers to re-engage and reactivate inactive customers and generate pipeline opportunities.
- Work closely with Underwriting to successfully manage and generate pipeline to close origination financing, to meet quota within assigned account set.
- Communicate customer feedback, pain points, and opportunities to improve the product suite to Marketing and Product.
- Leverage social media to communicate and connect with prospects and customers.
- Limited travel may be required.
- Carry monthly upsell and origination quota.
Skills And Qualifications
- 3-4 years selling and managing a full sales cycle (including closing)
- Experience in account management and lead management
- Familiarity with technology tools such as Salesforce, Slack, Outreach, etc.
- Must have a competitive drive and persevere to consistently achieve excellence and overcome adversity
- Must be a self starter and continuously invest in self development and learning
- Must work with honesty, integrity and respect
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent written and oral communication
