Job Summary

Comcast Advertising's Strategy and Operations organization works across Comcast Advertising's businesses, including Effectv and FreeWheel, and Comcast Cable teams to enable advertising solutions and drive value for our clients and internal partners. The organization is hiring a Sr. Project Analyst that will be responsible for organizing, defining, prioritizing, and delivering projects that realize significant business value.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Sr. Project Analyst, this unique role is equal parts project and product management working with numerous product and engineering teams to deliver process improvements and project deliverables.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery of products from conception to launch, while managing project resources and timelines preferably in an advertising technology context.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing to define product/project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders and management ensuring alignment of business, project, and product goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging advertising technologies and industry trends related to bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creates and maintains reporting systems and databases.
  • Analyzes data and feedback throughout the lifecycle of a product and analyzes final data results to determine business impact.
  • Recommends strategy changes and future strategies based on research findings.
  • Performs business analysis key to determining profitability and strategy (such as forecast analysis and cash-flow analysis) and reports results to senior management.
  • Performs economic analysis, organizational positioning analysis and other analyses related to strategic planning as assigned.
  • Coordinates and participates in special project teams.
  • Interfaces with other Specialists and senior management across several business units within the organization and collaborates on special projects.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
