This position provides support to the team and clients in the Company’s Phoenix and Scottsdale offices. Daily interactions with the team, clients, and others are to support the process of delivering the highest quality professional services in assisting clients with their financial, business and tax matters.
Responsibilities:
· Engage in incoming and outgoing telephone calls and the preparation of email communications to clients as a professional representative of the Company to obtain documents and information needed in providing professional services to the Company’s clients
· Prepare and process electronic documents as an integral part of a structured and efficient paperless work environment
· Interpret information provided by clients in the context of current federal and state tax law that results in the highest quality tax reporting and tax planning results
· Prepare individual tax reporting with information provided by the client
· Prepare business tax reporting with information provided by the client (i.e., Corporation, Partnership, etc.)
· Prepare fiduciary tax reporting with information provided by the client (i.e., Estate, Trust)
· Prepare annual accounting for business clients from information provided by client including the preparation of adjustments to an accounting controlled by the client
· Supervise team members during the accounting and tax reporting processes in support of the Company’s quality control system
· Utilize the Company’s practice management system to support an accurate and efficient paperless work environment and file and project management system
· Assist the Owner with technology and management projects to support best practices in providing the highest quality professional services to clients
· Perform other professional duties and tasks at the direction of the Owner in providing the highest quality professional services to clients
Education and Relevant Work Experience Required:
· College-level education (four-year accounting education and degree)
· CPA or EA designation (currently has or working towards)
· Experience in a public accounting firm environment
· Experience in delivering tax reporting compliance, tax planning and business advisory services to individual and business clients
Leadership Qualities and Intangible Skills Required:
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Teamwork driven

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
