Senior UI/UX Digital Designer

• Join our El Segundo-based creative team as a seasoned professional with a strong background in UI/UX design and graphic design expertise.
• Intuitive understanding of backend coding for email, DDC website, mobile, and desktop applications is essential.
• Proficiency in SVG animation, detailed file coding, and adherence to digital specifications (file sizes, button dimensions).
• Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop, with experience in SVG animation, motion graphics, and tools like Snap Lenses filters. AR & AI experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually Dynamic Experiences: Create visually dynamic and interactive digital experiences.
• SVG Structured Data Mastery: Understand the structured data tied to SVG through HTML coding, enabling effective scanning, interpretation, and understanding by crawlers.
• Layered Data Utilization: Utilize the layered data in SVGs, employing structured coding for live text incorporation into images that are crawlable to search engines.
• SVG File Formatting Exploration: Explore opportunities to expand visible content by adopting SVG file formatting, enhancing the overall digital presence.
• UI/UX Design Proficiency: Lead in crafting compelling and user-centric digital experiences, applying expertise from conceptualization to implementation.
• Brand Aesthetics: Ensure a visually consistent brand representation across all digital platforms, leveraging UI/UX design skills.
• Design Excellence: Elevate the quality of UI/UX design, creating user-centered and visually appealing digital interfaces.
• Digital Production Assistance: Collaborate with developers and stakeholders, overseeing the entire digital production process.
• Digital Beauty and Fashion Artistry: Infuse UI/UX design skills into visually appealing, on-brand digital materials, understanding the beauty and fashion industry.
• Collaborative Contribution: Work closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams, providing a UI/UX designer's perspective.
• Project Support: Contribute to maintaining organized project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of digitally enriched materials.
• File Management: Organize UI/UX design files meticulously, ensuring easy retrieval, referencing, and sharing.
• Adaptability: Bring UI/UX design versatility to support various aspects of ongoing digital operations.

Technical Skills Assessment:

• As a crucial part of our interview process, candidates will be asked to submit a Technical Skills Assessment project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a UI/UX design role, with exposure to the beauty or fashion industry.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with a UI/UX design mindset.
• Ability to thrive under deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
• Accept direction with an impeccable attention to detail and appreciation for user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a UI/UX designer's collaborative spirit.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
