Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service and Repair Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, service, and repairs on plumbing systems in commercial & residential buildings. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing plumbing issues, as well as ensuring compliance with all safety codes and regulations. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: ° Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial & residential buildings, including pipes, water heaters, faucets, pumps, and drainage systems. ° Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, identifying the root cause and determining the most cost-effective and efficient repair solutions. ° Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems to prevent potential issues and ensure proper functioning. ° Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand plumbing systems and installation requirements. ° Provide emergency repair services during off-hours as needed, including weekends and holidays. ° Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on work progress and explaining the nature of repairs and costs. °Ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. ° Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed. ° Adherent to company policies and safety procedures, always ensuring a safe working environment. ° Operate and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition. ° Assist in estimating project costs and timelines when needed. Qualifications: ° Valid Plumbing License a plus. ° Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing, including service and repair. ° Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. ° Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex plumbing issues. ° Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally. ° Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ° Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ° Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. ° Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and tools, and work in various environments. ° Flexibility to respond to emergency service calls as needed. Preferred Qualifications: ° Experience with high-rise buildings, industrial plumbing systems, and water treatment systems. ° Familiarity with modern plumbing technologies and tools. ° Strong customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction. ° Knowledge of green building systems and sustainable plumbing practices. Physical Requirements: ° Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces. ° Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. ° Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
