Summary This position is located at the Tower Barracks Wild BOAR Outdoor Recreation Center in Grafenwoehr/Germany. A one-year probationary period may be required. Must have or be able to obtain a current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification Must be able to work weekends, nights, US and Germany holidays and MWR Special Events. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Qualifications Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified. Highly Preferred - Experience and knowledge with rock climbing and paintball - Experience of basic ski and/or snowboarding techniques to assist customers in basic ski/snow acitivities - Prior experience with collegiate and/or a military outdoor recreation program Referral lists are based on the qualifications stated in the job announcement. Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
