Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Design client-side and server-side architecture. Work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals. Develops secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others. Work closely with product teams, users, agile leads, and other development teams across the firm to support and deliver highly integrated technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 2 (Two) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, System Engineer, UI Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, System Engineer, UI Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Windows; Microservices; J2EE; Jenkins; NodeJS; CSS; HTML; Java; JavaScript; jQuery; React; SASS; Typescript; Angular; Bootstrap; REST; JSON; Splunk; GIT; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; VueJS; AWS; SLDC; Software business requirement analysis; Software maintenance and improvement; Software system design; Software testing and operational stability; Front-end coding; Back-end coding.
