Summary About the position: This position is located at the Auto Hobby Shop on Spangdahlem AB, Germany. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to frequently bend, reach and work in awkward positions. Military Spouse Preference is not lost if selected for this position. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health, ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts; to include setting up and maintaining a neat, well organized and secure storage area. Must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service. Must be able to follow written and oral instruction, make simple mathematical calculations and be able to follow cash handling procedures. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
